Part 15's and streaming (Qualify for lower rate?)

i run a non commercial (no Commercials / PSA only) part 15 am in both 15.221 mode (Neutral loaded Carrier current) and remote 15.219 site (3m ant / 100mW input to final) would that qualify as an over the air terrestrial signal for the purposes of getting the lower streaming rate? i would like to add...

Re: Need Dip Switch settings on (/\/\) Motorola 1310

i wound up grabbing one of those Radio Engineering Associates AMM-SD1 monitors. figured it was cheap enough and more accurate than messing with the old Motorola monitor and takes up less rack space :-)

Finally installed wheastone A-50 in home studio

Finally Installed Wheatstone A-50 in studio, YL was less than thrilled when she came home from work and saw that large board in place of my small broadcast tools promix12 https://www.dropbox.com/sh/dmoop1yl8rts94m/AACdzBO4TqUYiCrU1itPwTusa?dl=0 some of the off bulbs are still out any suggestions on ...

Re: Telos AA Encoder w/Shoucast, Possible?

i used to be big on software solutions for processing and streaming but, not so much anymore. i have found them to be somewhat unstable. i like hardware based DSP and analog solutions. i am looking at the newer telos streamers. they run about $1700.00 MSRP @ BSW and handle shoutcast / icecast I just...

Re: Telos AA Encoder w/Shoucast, Possible?

found out it can't, i need a firmware update to work with shoutcast which is
NLA from telos.

Telos no longer has the hardware to burn firmware proms.

not sure what this box is good for in that case.

Re: homebrew (1600-1700 KHz) antenna analyzer

for me this whole thing is a learning experience. i am by no means an antenna expert, but i learn by hands on doing then i do from text books. all this is about teaching myself broadcast engineering. my personal part 15 doesn't go very far at all on am or fm. maybe about 200-300ft to a really good a...

Re: homebrew (1600-1700 KHz) antenna analyzer

i'm looking at the following design which utilizes a o-scope for readings. looks easy to use and cheap to build.

homebrew (1600-1700 KHz) antenna analyzer

as everyone here probably already knows, i play with FCC legal low power broadcasting (if you can call it that at these very low power levels) under 15.219. well i am looking for schematics for a low power (milliWatt range TPO) antenna analyzer. i need it to simultaneously measure impedance and VSWR...
