Re: Small time daytimer makes newspaper.

I like those kinds of stories.

We have a few mom 'n pop stations we cover. Great people to work with.

Re: Confusion on Inovonics 222

According to page 9 of the Innovonics manual, the 222 cannot force asymetrical modulation: http://www.inovonicsbroadcast.com/wp-content/uploads/catablog/downloads/222Manual.pdf The asymetry is developed by the Innovonics 222 itself so a pre-processor isn't needed to accomplish that function. However...

Re: Nice home made work

1. Is that person welding PVC? :D

2. Does it meet Part 15 rules?

Re: Modulation Depedent or Controlled Carrier Modulation

No, no question, just presenting some of the latest info on CCM.

I agree, no real advantage unless you get to the higher powers.

ClassE transmitters with PWM are fairly efficient up to 10kW.

3. Reliability?

Re: AM Tower Bonding

I am wondering if the extra effort, expense, wind loading introduced by the extra wires is worth the effort - if it can be shown that there is a distinctive advantage to be gained then I guess it would be, but .... ? I have never done a NEC analysis on an expandable sectioned tower, but I can't see...

Re: AM Tower Bonding

I have a queston for you> I assume you have a winch that is motorized to crank the section? Is the winch insulated from ground, I.E., does it sit above the feedpoint as well? Is this a TowerWorx type tower on a trailer? I would think for a mobile temporary installation what you need is simply one bo...

Re: 400kW of 747 and 1008 kHz

Do the 6-wire skirts go all the way to top or do they only go half way up the tower?

Whoops, the ink does describe the skirt system.

Thanks
