Does anyone have the software from Thales multiplexers ?

Thales Configuration and Supervision software

Thales was acquired by Thomson Broadcast and then I lost track, so no idea where to find it :?
My old station does. Let me get in contact with them, see if I can't get a copy of it.

You could also post the issue here, in case the EO engineer can't help you, someone else on here possibly could. We got a lot of smart folks here with a ton of experience.

Re: Connector suppliers....

I believe ERI owns Andrew, and the coax used by the cell industry is somewhat thinner. ERI only owns the broadcast transmission division. The microwave side is owned by CommScope. They may also be the ones making the coax/waveguide as well for them. The satellite side is owned by another company, w...

Re: Can´t receive sat freq over 11500 V or H

Hi! One thing you haven't mentioned is the size of your satellite antennas, and the style of the reflector. (Solid versus Mesh). A larger dish can have a narrower focus, that results in a higher gain. (And would be less prone to general noise). Although I am not 100% sure how the other offending sig...

Audio Vault Radio Text RDS output question

Quick question.

Does anyone here know how to stop the audio vault RDS text output from starting with the words "Now Playing".
It's quite annoying to waste text space, telling people what they already know. (That the song they currently hear on their radio is "Now Playing").

Re: Revitalized AM Translators

We have two AM on FM translators in Providence, which have nearly 100% overlap of their signals. IIRC that's not legal either. Two translators carrying the same signal aren't supposed to overlap more than a minimal percentage. Correct?

Seeing that the OP hasn't been on this forum since mid December, these responses are going into the wind anyways. Maybe good to just put this one to rest.

Re: Tower Painting question

Tower crews always paint over paint on towers. I can't recall ever hearing of a tower "cleared" of an old paint job. Also sounds more like the tower paint used was poor quality. Good Quality Tower paint tends to be thicker than normal paint, and leaves a deeper coat. It also does a number to help pr...

Re: Versa-Count LA-150

Did anything come out of this? I have one that I want to use in place of a squirrly exciter temporarily - and would like to wire in an interlock via the remote connector so it doesn't come on when there is no HV applied in the transmitter. I guess I'll have to retune it as well if what I'm reading ...

Re: Satellite Metrics

This started happening after a replacement of the coax from the roof junction box to the LNB. As part of the process we also replaced the LNB. Would mounting the LNB slightly off square have anything to do with this? Mark Did that coax replacement involve you shutting down the LNB power supply? You...
