My company wants to implement low-rate digital signaling over AM broadcast radio in the US similar to the AMSS service that is operating in Europe. On second glance I see you're using 500Hz per division resolution...typically we use 5Khz per division and in some situations 20Khz per division.... After trying to count the little bittie "ticks" between each division...it kinda looks like you may be seeing the high pass audio filters in action. A...

AM Broadcast Carrier Spectrum

Hi all, I measured these near-in spectra of local AM broadcast signals. In most of them there appear to be subcarriers or other signals around 100 to 150 Hz away from the carriers. Multiplexed data services on AM

Multiplexed services have been de-regulated on AM broadcast transmissions per CFR § 73.127. Can any kind soul tell me the best way this service can be implemented? My company needs to broadcast a 50 bit/s data service in a metropolitan area in CA. I'm a relative newbie in this field and I don't know...
