Re: OMNIA.7AM

No experience with the Omnia AM. However, have had the Omnia.7 FM in service for over a year. Fantastic sounding box for the money. Tech support has also been fantastic. This means a lot to me.

Re: ETRS Reporting Forms 2 & 3 09/27/2017

I used Windows 7 Ultimate and latest Internet Explorer update. I have visited dozens of other websites Using this OS and Internet Explorer with NO problems. Seems odd we'd be restricted to using only Firefox and Chrome.

ETRS Reporting Forms 2 & 3 09/27/2017

Ever wonder if the same person(s) who set up the initial Obama Care signup website, also set up the website for Reporting National EAS (ETRS)Test of 09/27/2017. Forms 2 & 3? I am no newbie, but I have found very few websites as confusing and screwed up as the ETRS reporting website. This could have ...

Capacitors

I am planning to recap an old Orban FM processor. In the past, I have used Panasonic caps with good results. At one time, Panasonic offered a broad array of caps of various sizes, voltage ratings and values. However, Panasonic now seems to have drastically cut back their offerings, not anything like...

Nautel NV10LT

Gentlemen, what is your opinion of the Nautel NV10LT? We recently installed one. So far, so good. Thru software, the thing seems to monitor every conceivable parameter there is and then some, plus Nautel can remotely bring up the transmitter and help in the trouble shooting process. On air sound is ...

Dayton AF225 FM Receiver/Monitor

I have a Dayton Industries Model AF225 FM Receiver/Monitor which has started doing strange things. I am wondering if anyone has a schematic drawing to this receiver. I have the user manual which gives me dip switch settings to set frequency, etc, but no schematic. It seems Dayton Industries has gone...

Re: TFT ceasing operations??

Makes one wonder who's next to fail. Without mentioning names, I can think of several candidates who might be next based on poor tech support and service. Scary thought!

Re: Worst FM Transmitter

In my opinion the Gates DAX3 is NOT the worst transmitter. However, what rankles me is Gate's sky high prices for parts and repairs. The DAX3 seems a rather stable transmitter and we have had good luck with it. We have lost two power output modules in the last three years. One was under warranty, th...

Re: Worst FM Transmitter

Armstrong 8000B, with four 2kW modules. Works well when it works. God help you when it doesn’t. Lose one 2kW module and reject power in the splitter/combiner jumps sky high and will blow it up if transmitter power isn’t drastically reduced. Lose two modules and, according to factory, Don’t operate a...
