Re: ID this mic?

Thank you for all that info davek! I've seen other photos from SCA studios with the 105s but wasn't sure which pics came first. That makes total sense with the mechanical noise problems, I'm currently looking to replace some gooseneck guest mics for the exact same reason. Good to know it's not just ...

ID this mic?

Anyone know what the long mic on the gooseneck stand is in this pic?? Seen it in a few shots of a major network refurb and it has piqued my interest :) Sorry I can't find a more helpful picture than this, but the same mic appears as guest mics for a bunch of their different studios/stations. Choosing guest mics

I'm looking at some new mics for the 3 guest mics for our small campus studio. Those plugs are also jacks so with two of them you can configure a patch that retains the normal bridge or doesn't on either end or both. I've been looking for...

Re: To Krone or not to Krone?

Thanks for all your responses everyone. I typed out a lovely long reply, twice, but both times the board had logged me out by the time I hit Submit and I lost it all. So sorry for the late reply but I was too disheartened to try again! I think PID_Stop's comments make a lot of sense for our TV facil...

To Krone or not to Krone?

Hi, I'm a new member :) I come from an audio tech background, with a bunch of time in community radio (station production/audio tech), and have a smattering of electronics experience. I'm now taking on more of a station engineer type role, which feels like a pretty natural transition. I'm currently ...
