Re: Has anyone received the new Nielsen monitors?

By new, I am going to assume you mean the 4 channel per box. We have 3 of them, in service for a couple of weeks. 3 FM's, 5 AM's, two translators all working just fine. Have had a couple of contacts with Ebony at PPM but they were all minor, temporary loss things that were not repeated. Slaved relay...

Re: Broadcast Technology Company?

I hired Chuck Springer for the Chief's position at KLMR in Lamar when I was Corporate CE for Behan. Best engineer I ever hired. Lost track of him over the last 25 years.

Re: Your Biggest On Air Screw up..

Back in the 60's my first college radio station, carrier current, I had it on after midnight testing, making numerous announcements, "broadcasting for testing purposes only" when that got boring I'd say "...for technical purposes only." Didn't take long until I announced "...for testicle purposes on...

Re: Remote broadcast via automation

IF we knew what the play by play guy is using, ti would make it easier to help you. IF he is just talking into a cell phone or if his remote mixer can generate Touch tones, a simple Circuit works DTMF decoder, list price $229, is all you need at the studio. IF his system does not allow simple touch ...

Re: Remote broadcast via automation

Should be pretty straight forward as others have said, treat the remote as another input, Time select that source when the play by play is to start (you'll have to sync the announcers watch with the computers.) be connected before hand. Use any method to get tones back. I'd suggest using the 25 and ...

Re: 11 ghz equipment

I should have been more precise. This is for a single point to single point link for 3 stereo streams of radio signals. Not sure how the DTV link would work for that but I'll research it.

Thanks for the help guys but no joy. The element is correct, the data sent is for the wrong dish and the manufacturer is not returning phone messages. We are working on a shield thing fro the feed element that may work. I'll let you know.

Pattern for a 10 foot Mark Dish

Does anyone have pattern information on a 10 ft Mark Dish on 950 MHz? I was finally able to trace down someone at Gabriel, who now has the Mark line who is looking in to it but not very encouraging. This is similar to the 8 foot P9A96GNS dish, but I can't seem to find anything on the 10 foot version...
