Re: IP address

Are you typing the IP address, or clicking on a link? If it's a link, there may be a slight bit of white space somewhere in the IP. While it's hard to see in a URL, it may be enough to trip up a computer. I'd suggest manually typing it in

Re: Static/Buzz - RF Interference

Thought I'd post the resolution to this problem. Today I had decided to stop thinking about this problem and go for a walk at lunch. When I returned, I walked past the front of the building. I heard what sounded like electricity arcing and it sounded exactly like the sound that we were experiencing...

It's sad that he can't be appreciative of the expertise he's been given here. You can't be mad at someone giving you advise just because you don't like the answer. OK, well, you can, but it makes you a jerk. I won't miss him!

Begining of the end for Radio Shack?

Looks like the clock is ticking on Radio Shack... Anyone going to miss them? RadioShack said Tuesday that it would close about 1,100 poorly performing stores amid widening losses, or roughly 20% of its locations, as part of an effort to remake itself for a more competitive era of electronic retailin...

Re: Welcome new members

Mike, Would this be the place to ask a question regarding the user interface? When I am logged in, the "view new posts" link is quite handy; I like how I can quickly keep up the latest activity in all sections. My question is what defines them as "new". Is this configurable, such has how many days ...

Re: Satellite radio

I'm with Chris... I will listen to satellite when I'm driving back and forth from TN to WI when I go to visit family. I'll listen to it once in awhile when there is nothing good on local radio. The quality is pretty bad
