IP Audio Codecs (TieLine, Comrex, Telos, etc.)

Post by eadler » Wed Feb 09, 2011 4:25 pm

I am working on a project to determine the interoperability of as many different IP audio codecs as possible. I have access to TieLine BridgeITs and APT Worldcast Horizons. I am looking for folks with any other codecs willing to participate. I plan on publishing the findings online in a usable form (perhaps some sort of interactive webpage telling you exactly how to interconnect the codecs? I suppose my display method will depend on just how many I can get to talk together well). If you want to participate, please either post in this thread or send me a PM on the forums (or contact me by other means if you have my contact information).

Thank you,
Eric

G.711, G.722 seem to work across vendors units, any L2 or L3 modes that are low latency or extended frequency may not. Basic L2/L3 modes mostly work.
Trim to fit, paint to match, tune for minimum smoke.
