Conditions tonight on the EAST cost haven't been spectacular (no North Carolina, Albany NY or Nova Scotia to boot)
But the paths that were open, were very strong.
Image
WFTY-TV (RF 23) from Long Island being picked up on a portable handheld TV w/ the little telescoping antenna.
This is 100 miles from my QTH to the tower, half water-half land path. Signal was solid enough to get
moving video

Image
WGME-TV (RF 38) from Portland, ME. This is my main TV using an amplified indoor antenna that only works So/So.
150 miles from my QTH to the tower in Raymond, ME. (For anyone who is interested, the tower for this station is literally in the back yard of the Dielectric (SPX) plant in Raymond.
It's a tall tower over 1600 feet tall, painted. Really is worth seeing in a really gorgeous part of Maine.
(Ironically this location is also about 15 miles from Bridgton where Shively Labs is also located)

Scan on the big set, manual tune on the small set.

Looks like it's getting near time to replace the StatiCat!
