What's the difference between a UPS and a bird?

Post by w9wi » Sun Jul 15, 2012 3:04 pm

According to one bird at the WSMV-TV radar site near Nolensville this morning, apparently nothing.

I was at the site working with the telco to get a T1 fixed; noticed the UPS was beeping. (the batteries have apparently passed their expiration date...)

Every time it beeped... a bird answered. *EVERY* time for 15 minutes. Finally, the bird figured out there wasn't anyone else on the hill except us humans... (and a few dozen deer)

Nothing. I've been dumped on by both.
