I've been in doghouses in worse shape than this.

Is that the photo AFTER the copper thieves made off with the contents?

Shoot, it even has a little "boardwalk" leading up to it. Plush!

Never noticed the porch! :D I would only consider it "plush" if it was equipped with the "3 different colored corn cobs".

It's missing the half moon over the door. That's what threw me.

But, how do you use those three sea shells?

That's a well fertilized shrub growing next to it.
Where's the supplemental literary device?
Trim to fit, paint to match, tune for minimum smoke.

I wouldn't keep a dog or an ATU circuit in a house like that. That said, I once had a two-tower DA with hand-built wooden doghouses that didn't look all that different from the photo (the components were mounted on aluminum plates on the back walls). Fortunately I got to rebuild that DA with a nice pair of used Harris aluminum ATU cabinets that came from a 5 tower site that I had decomissioned some years earlier. I felt a great deal of satisfaction in demolishing those wooden ATUs.

But you gotta admit, no self-respecting copper thief would think of looking in something like that for anything worth stealing.

Make it look nice, and then it's worth the effort to trash it to break into it, even if nothing valuable is found. It's just the pleasure of ruining something.

If you tiled that at a 45 degree angle it could be the old WRPN doghouses.

Weeeeelllll, It appears that you do get around! That's exactly what I was thinking of when I started this thread.

For those of you who are wondering about those references, there was, years ago, an infamous doghouse out in the Wis. wilderness that was modeled after the famous "Leaning Tower" Too bad I didn't carry a camera back then. It would have been "a classic picture".

I have carried one for some years, and found a photo of the number two (pun intended) wooden doghouse right after tower two was taken out by a severe thunderstorm. I had warned the owner that trees that could fall on the guys or tower needed to be removed, but that was not done (I no longer work there) and this was the result - note also that the old tower fence was too close for a 10 kW DA station with nearly 5 kW into tower two:
