ETRS Reporting Forms 2 & 3 09/27/2017

Ever wonder if the same person(s) who set up the initial Obama Care signup website, also set up the website for Reporting National EAS (ETRS)Test of 09/27/2017. Forms 2 & 3?
I am no newbie, but I have found very few websites as confusing and screwed up as the ETRS reporting website. This could have been so much easier if the website was designed by someone who knew what the hell they were doing.

I had to submit form 2, 5 times before it didn't cancel the whole form and I had to start all over again. Took me 3 times with form 3. I also went back to change some answers and had a devil of a time changing them. Then, when submitted, there was not any real positive feedback the forms had been properly submitted and accepted. Quite by accident, I discovered an email dated THREE days later they had been accepted. Oh, my.

What browser were you using? There were many, many problems reported by those trying to use Internet Exploder.

Firefox and Chrome apparently work much better with ETRS. I used Chrome for filing Forms 1 & 2 (still working on 3) and have had no problems.

We used Chrome for all three forms & it went fine.

I used Windows 7 Ultimate and latest Internet Explorer update. I have visited dozens of other websites Using this OS and Internet Explorer with NO problems. Seems odd we'd be restricted to using only Firefox and Chrome.

It seemed like a total crapshoot for me. CORES wouldn't work in Firefox (had to reset password), then ETRS wouldn't work in IE or Edge.

We use ServiceNow (the abomination that the FCC is using for this reporting) at my day job and have found it does not like IE or Edge at all. It prefers Chrome or FireFox.

The business manager tried to navigate this for us and, day of test, she couldn't get in. I don't know how much trouble we are in for not meeting the 11:59 deadline but it wasn't for lack of trying. I'm pretty sure she was using IE11 but it worked fine the next day.

I can only imagine how it would react to me since I use Linux unless I'm forced to use something else.

The whole day of test report is BS in my opinion, the server load could be handled much better if they gave a 24 or 48 hour window. Other than the FEMA nerds wanting instant gratification the short reporting window is meaningless and serves no operational purpose.

I think they extended the Form 2 deadline at the last minute but that has since passed.

I find more and more web pages won't work or seize up using IE11. I still use it as my default but keep Chrome, Brave, Safari and some other simple browser, the name I can't remember, handy. I would make Chrome my default but for two reasons: 1. Everything looks more "polished" in IE, and looks rather crude in any other browser, and 2. Chrome doesn't have a menu bar.
