Marti STL-15c

I've got a couple Marti STL-15c's sitting around that I'd like to revive. The failed Motorola MHW-812-A3 rf amps are getting scarce and expensive. Has anyone modified the STL-15c's circuit to use the Motorola MHW-804-A4 module instead? Looking at the datasheet, the 804 is 7.5 watts with 80mw drive. The original 812 is 15watts at 200wm drive.

It would probably be OK. Too bad, as I had as many as 80 of the original modules, which were installed in some commercial spread spectrum 900 gear. I advertised them all over the place, and couldn't hardly give them away. I ended up scrapping and recycling the whole mess of them. You might contact J-Squared Technical services for originals. I even offered to him, but he wasn't interested. I think maybe he already had a big stock of them or something.
