AAC+ or MP3 256kb

Post by smalltownbroadcaster » Sun Aug 07, 2016 11:18 am

For an stl application, which provides the best audio quality? AAC+ or MP3 (256kb)?

I've tried researching prior to asking, but it is still not very clear to me. I do know that both are compressed, just not clear in which one is regarded as the best choice for stl.

Thanks!

AAC is generally better quality. It might depend on your bandwidth if you can support that high of a stream all the time.

220, 221 whatever.
Just don't use variable bit rate.
Trim to fit, paint to match, tune for minimum smoke.
