Happy New Year everyone!

Thanks

I believe it depends on the FW in the GR CAP unit AND if it is setup for 00000 area and proper codes. I only had 1 GR unit and Jim Gorman said it was compliant based on the firmware version. I don't know if it actually worked or not. I haven't been notified that it didn't.

Give Jim a call u when you're in front of the machine.

Yes we have the latest firmware in the CAP. The question is with the TFT EAS 911 unit according the G/R website is says it is with this link.

So far we have not seen any issues testing this combo.

According to a Radio World article from earlier this year, the TFT 911 at least will do the 00000 and I assume you can add NPT. I don't have any TFT units in service.

Darryl Parker (formerly of TFT) could give you a definitive answer. This px and email have been published on numerous sites so I assume it is OK to post here.... contact Darryl Parker at (408) 219-5579 or darryleparker@comcast.net
