3 Way N-Type RF diplexer question

Post by BoundlessInformant » Sat Feb 11, 2017 5:16 am

Hello Everybody!

I have been looking for a 3 way N type Diplexer for some time now. The frequency range I operate on is between 380-400mhz.
Google hasn't produced any good results as I am looking to take 3 transmitters and consolidate them into 1 output (Omni-directional antenna)
I'm running about 3 RG-8 cables just over 100ft and using 3 separate antennas to transmit.

Could anyone suggest a product that fits my request, or something similar that would serve the same purpose?

Respectfully,

T

A combiner is that what you seek.

Check with Bird RF, Sinclair, Telewave, EMR, etc.

Here is a page of combiners at Tessco.com
https://www.tessco.com/search#q=combiner

Good luck,

For further consideration:

The channel isolation needed by such a combiner depends upon the ...

- frequency separation of the transmitters
- mutual isolation of the transmit antennas, as installed
- intrinsic ability of each transmitter to reject external, off-channel r-f coupled to its output port
- regulatory issues relating to the maximum levels of off-channel signals permissible from each station
- real-world performance of that system for that application

Thank you, this seems to be a little more complicated than what a newbie like me could handle!
