Off air alarm lights

Post by lvradiodr » Thu Mar 03, 2016 2:07 pm

Hello all, i'm looking for some strobe lights that i can wire into a silence sensor. I intend on wiring them into the studio's and the hallway so that when the station is offline, there is a visual alarm. I'm wondering if anyone has some suggestions for the lights themselves. Please let me know.
Thanks

Sounds like a security-type strobe ought to fit the bill. There are a lot of companies that sell this sort of thing; a quick Google search turned this up (I can't vouch for the company, but it looks like some strobes we installed several years ago for a similar purpose).

Heh...my office is on the same block as Maxi-Signal Products, an industrial strobe supplier. One Christmas they lined the roof edges of their building with red and green strobes. The village of La Grange was not amused...
