AMPro Microtouch Console

Post by Bill DeFelice » Sat Oct 08, 2016 6:03 am

I'm trying to assist a gent who has an Ampro Microtouch console he's attempting to restore find some docs for it. He's got this mono console passing audio but would like to have the docs to dive deeper into it.

The one thing that caught me by surprise was is said his console has slide pots. For the couple I've seen in the wild (along with the advertising) I only recall seeing this beast with rotary pots.

Any help would be appreciated.

I bought a mono eight channel version for my console collection. The console pretty much works, and next to a 50KW transmitter! I always wondered as a kid when it came out if it would work at the 50KW site my dad looked after on weekends. Years latter I'm able to say it does does work, touch sensor has no problem.

I did get a manual with the console but will have to scan it. My console has the rotary pots. It is running right now as a backup last ditch audio source. While the console does say Ampro on it the manual is from TTC wilkenson.
