SRI's operation is commensurate with the size of their country.

Someday I'll scan in all the pictures I took while visiting VOA and other sites around the world. For me, the coolest is the humble 4x4 dipole array that launched Radio Australia's 31 meter broadcast clear across the Pacific and North America every local morning. This array was humble in that the elements were single-wire.
What's that do....?

One of these days I'd love to take a little fieldtrip out to WYFR in Okeechobee... they have a really neat looking facility.

HOLY BUCKETS, how much filament current IS that? You could probably spotweld girders for condo projects in West Palm Beach with that power supply.
