Disposing old tubes

Post by NECRAT » Fri Sep 19, 2014 9:07 am

I am one of those engineers who doesn't like to keep old stuff around, especially if it is not necessary to do so. I've been cleaning our transmitter site like a banchie, removing old NTSC gear, etc. One thing we have a mini-plethora of, is old IOT tubes. These tubes are dead. Will not Hi-Pot, will not function. They can't be rebuilt either. Is there any program that anyone is aware of that will take old tubes? I'd like to get rid of them. (Crates too).
