How many of you guys are using Volicon for monitoring?

We are using it here in Indy, but it keeps crashing our Windows 7 machines when we turn on CC and VU meters.

(Raises hand)

I don't use the VU meters but captioning works fine. It's picky about browsers; I haven't been able to crash any boxes (we also use Win 7) but it won't play the video in some combinations. I'm sure it's a missing plugin but our boxes have all three (IE, FF, Chrome) installed & the path of least resistance is to use whichever one works...

Using Win 7 with Chrome browser, cc works on all 6 streams, don't use the vol meters.
We had probs with cc using IE.
Trim to fit, paint to match, tune for minimum smoke.

We're still on Observer 7.1 for now, best luck with IE10 in compat mode. Windows 7.

According to Volicon, their version 7 doesn't work with IE11. You have to back down to IE10. Supposedly you can run IE11 in compatibility mode and it will work, but I have never gotten it to work. They also say it only works with IE. If you can get it to work with something else, would love to hear about it!

I decided a screen post wasn't the best idea.
