I've got a Newtec MDM6000 satellite modem that I'd like to use to replace an IDC MX2001 IP encapsulator that is getting a bit old. The IDC encapsulator feeds a Newtec NTC2280 modulator which in turn drives the uplink. There are about 15 audio streams, encapsulated and modulated in a DVB-S2 carrier, QPSK 2/3. This works nicely, but i'm having no luck trying to put these streams through the MDM6000. I've had a couple of Teamviewer sessions with Newtec tech support but haven't got a result. All I can do is establish a carrier and lock my receivers (IDC SFX2102, and Star Pro G2) to it, but they cannot decode the audio. They don't even recognise the incoming transport stream, apart from the G2 telling me the stream's bitrate accurately. Does anyone have any experience with the MDM6000 and IDC receivers? I'm all out of ideas.
