Streaming in HD while burning to a DVD

Post by ttm3 » Thu Aug 14, 2014 10:14 am

I have to stream an upcoming soccer game and there is a new rule that a DVD must be burned within twenty minutes of the game ending for the opponent.

Any ideas on how I could keep my stream in HD while simultaneously burning SD footage from the same camera straight to a DVD burner?

Help would be GREATLY appreciated!

You haven't said what flavor of HD you're using for your stream. HDSDI, HDMI, etc...

You can use any HD downconverter that has a HD passthrough option.

Does the camera have an analogue output you could use to feed the DVD recorder? I assume the DVD is for the teams to use for later analysis of the game...

The OP hasn't been back since this was posted in August...

Two notes:.

1) The JuliaRubino post is from a spammer. Account was shut down.

2) The HD10MD3 is a down-converter, it wouldn't put out HD.
