Aside from the sound card issues...

I was told by Securenet that their encoder software is not supported on XP anymore.

I do have one old machine on XP and have to run the few versions back encoder software. Even that's unstable.

At minimum I think your encoder needs to be to Windows 7 or higher. Then find the soundcards that work for you.
