Ah it's the old "Let's take down the old site before we put the new site up and leave our customers in the dark" trick. Didn't Harris/GatesAir do this to us last year?W2XJ wrote:The ORBAN site is being moved.
As they say in real estate, "location, location, location". It's no different in vertical real estate. Where the tower is located and the number of people it will potentially serve is a huge variable.
Well, okay. To answer the original question..... The CERT Preview is helpful. The CBRE is an open book test, so having the resources available to you when you take the exam is quite helpful. There are a lot of reference materials on the list, so don't think you can just bring them all along and not ...
6 hours crouched over.... and it's back up and running. Numbers are right on the factory checkout sheet. Thanks all for the ideas and suggestions! Glad to see it's happy again! I would assume that most of those 6 hours were spent removing and reinstalling the 5000 screws that attach the output netw...

I feed both my TRE and streaming encoders (in my case, securenet systems) without the TRE streaming metatdata option. It's possible to open two TCP ports on the AVAIR machine... one for TRE and one for your streaming encoder. My audiovau.ini entries from the [AVAIR] sections for metadata are as foll...
EJ -- I completely understand your desire to collect classic stuff. When I was a kid, there was a lot of ham gear that I desired that was far out of my price range. Today, I can have that coveted gear for a fraction of the price, and I get the pleasure of restoring it too.
I will agree with Dale, Kevin, and Mark. I refuse to specify GatesAir products until such time as they prove that they are in it for the long haul. The disappearance of the Support Portal has cost me to lose a lot of faith in the company, and every day that it's absent makes me less apt to do furthe...
