Re: Weird satellite problem

Premier has had ongoing problems for nearly a month or more. No word from them at all about it. Just crickets. Some of us have very low signal from that carrier, and folks like you have nothing. Go figure.

Re: AC Power Filters for the AM Band

http://www.morganmfg.us/radio-products/ac-line-filters-protectors/ OK, I'm at a loss. Does anyone know of a source for effective AC power line RFI filters that are effective in the medium-wave band (550-kHz to 1700-kHz)? They will, hopefully, be off-the-shelf and plug-in. 120-volt circuit protection...

Re: AC Power Filters for the AM Band

Great question. I've always built my own with electronic surplus line filters in my own boxes/connectors. df OK, I'm at a loss. Re: Backup STL link

For that distance, I would think a 900 mhz data link on a couple of yagis would do the trick, even through some trees. Ubiquiti, or Mikrotik, and the like. I'm using Mikrotik radios diplexed into one of my STL paths, and it works great across the Sacramento metro out to south of rancho cordova. dav...

Re: Small diameter balanced mic cable OK? Source?

https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/223B We have run a number of mic cables from one studio to another and the existing hole is small and difficult to expand. The balanced XLR mic cables I've used have been about 1/4 inch in diameter but I have seen XLR mics with ~1/8 inch dia cable. 1 - Is any ...

Hmm... I'd take a look at the PIN diode T/R switching for the 2M section.

Re: Starlink LAN

900 diplexer info update, if anyone cares... The diplexer in the moseley box was not in fact a Microwave Filter Company product. I only assumed it was, as googling all over only resulted in that one. I just took our two boxes apart to get the diplexers out and found they are from a Korean company. N...

Re: STL dropouts....back today

A booster may not help, and may actually hurt you. You have plenty of signal. It could be that there is another signal(s) that is ducting in at times, or some sort of local area temperature inversion layer may also be a culprit. If a non-same digital signal or an analog signal ducted in, it would es...

Re: Starlink LAN

Just ordered a pair of these for use with the diplexer over an existing 950 path. I'll try and remember to report back on the results. Path also includes an isocoupler at the far end (AM site)) https://routerboard.com/RBMetal9HPn df You will get much better results for less cost and effort by going ...

This is a site where we need more than the four audio feeds that we can get with a starlink.

How did you diplex in some Ubiquiti radios?

Thanks!
