Re: ERI SHP-3AE and Shively 6810 Questions

You'll need to sell them as a whole. The antennas are manufactured and tested for the configuration they are in. You can't just "remove a bay" and make a 4 bay become a 3 bay, etc. (Yes, I know you technically can but it's not recommended) The factory of any reputable company will have to ...

Re: On Air Light - relay

At my college, I am using our old pre-repack Harris Sigma ECDI relay interface for the on air lights. It's all in one with power supply and relay, and it'll look cool in the rack with the black and Harris logo on it.

Re: Antenna Recommendation - 2 x Class C Omni

Go with what Mark suggested. Look at the majority of class C, C0, and C1 stations in the US. And I do mean the majority, you'll see one manufacturer, for a reason.

No one makes a better super high powered FM antenna.

Re: EAS FM Receivers

I've had two EAS installations where I've used those little old Realistic "TM-150" tuner units. They're small, don't drift, and have a pretty good tuner section to them. You can usually find them for cheap on ebay.

Re: video problem in encoder tandberg EN5990

Try pulling the boards out and cleaning the connectors with DeOxIt, then reseating them.

Could be connectoritis, but I suspect it's a hardware issue.

Re: video problem in encoder tandberg EN5990

When you mention you "remove the plates and put them back on", exactly which plates do you mean?

Also if removing something then returning it back clears an issue, that points more to hardware than software.

Re: Disabling Windows Features Updates

The only official answer is the LTSC branch, but only if you are an enterprise customer. You need to get your head around the concept that Windows at a retail level is not an operating system as one used to purchase, but a service that operates as Microsoft likes it to operate, and thus updates are...
