Re: Program or hardware that will run a school TV channel???

Ours is a very basic setup. We have our computer that runs our programs. Our video card has HDMI which I put into a converter and then from there we go into a box from the cable company that has fiber attached that brings it to their main hub which then transmits our programming to everyone in town.

Program or hardware that will run a school TV channel???

We have our own school TV channel that is broadcast throughout the surrounding area. It has become real popular over the last 3 years. We have a lot of people watching and that is great. The problem for us is that because we have a lot of people watching, they like to know when certain programs are ...

Wireless XLR option

I am looking for something that will make this work for me. We do a live video stream for our high school basketball team. The one problem is at this point is that we don't have a play by play person and will need to tap into our radio guy. Half the time I will just be able to plug into the back of ...

Right mic for a studio??

This is for a high school studio that has a limited budget. I am looking at putting in 2 shotgun mics or some type of condenser mic from above instead of using the lav mics. This is for when we do our broadcasts and any other type of interview or project. This way we don't have to spend time hiding ...

Re: Needing a little advice on a Computer Video system

But I would have to build a computer to run it. So there is the cost of that to consider.

Re: Needing a little advice on a Computer Video system

Okay, I see. That would be for the streaming part that I already am set up for. I need to find some type of device that has storage and would be able to do the things I want onto the jumbo screens. Thanks for your replies.

Re: Needing a little advice on a Computer Video system

Would you be so kind as to tell me your entire setup? As I said in my last post I have since changed my mind and I won't be using it for streaming but for storing video intros, graphics, using camcorders to shoot of the crowd and some of the game and then project it on our jumbo screens. It just got...

Re: Needing a little advice on a Computer Video system

I have since changed my thinking after finding out the complexity of what it would take. I am now just going to be using a Tricaster 40 or mini to run the crowd cameras, graphics, intros etc. to the projectors to show on our jumbo screens. It will be a much simpler setup. I will be using the Tricast...

Re: Needing a little advice on a Computer Video system

Any special ones you could recommend? Also, what kind of capture cards would you recommend putting in the computer to capture the incoming video? Thanks.

Needing a little advice on a Computer Video system

I am needing a little advice and don't really know where to turn so I am here asking if anyone could answer with experience or point me in the right forum direction to find out the answer. What I am doing is trying to setup a video system in a gymnasium. We have two jumbo screens on the walls that w...

Re: Acoustic problem! Need some help.

I have heard that removing some of the suspended ceiling tiles could help for acoustic problems. Is this true?
