Re: Barix in/exstreamers....
When you say that you've tried three different locations, is that studio and transmitter, or just the studio side? You may have an issue on either end. I feed about eight stations simultaneously via Barix boxes, with very good reliability. They all have different ISP's connecting to us and from loc...

Re: Barix in/exstreamers....
2 of the locations are Time Warner. So yes. It's like I am being throttled. Kent - Do you know if the two Time Warner locations are connected entirely through their fiber? It sound more like the class of Barix problem that I've seen when the ends are with different IP providers. When I've had both ...

2 of the locations are Time Warner. So yes. It's like I am being throttled. I set the latency to 2000 ms and still can only get 40 khz. Not good. That and we are less than 2 miles away.

Barix in/exstreamers....
This is the first time I am working with the Barix boxes.. Having a dickens of a time getting a stream to them. I have to set the buffer to over 2000 ms to get even a 40kbs stream. The Barix sample feed is fine. I haev tried from 3 different locations with all of the same lack of bandwidth getting t...

Re: How are they going to shoe horn this puppy in....?
And these religious translator networks serve little/no useful purpose. They translate nothing. So, morally Pirate Radio. Sorry but I would take that argument. Just because you dont like it, doesnt mean it doesnt serve a purpose. IMHO we as engineers should not get into what is being carried on the...

How are they going to shoe horn this puppy in....?
OK not all of you may be familiar with the Milwaukee market, 104.7 WDDW was pretty much shoe horned into the market a couple of years ago. Now they want to put a 16w translator on frequency? yes yes, it is out of the FCCs "coverage area" for the station but just seems that it would truly m...

Re: PTZ camera and 3X3 videowall
I connected Sony BRC-H900 PTZ Camera to Black Magic mini converter (from SDI to HDMI) and HDMI output to RGB Mediawall 2900 (which is video wall controller) HDMI input, and this signal from video wall controller goes to my 3X3 video wall. But the color of picture from camera looks reddish. So I con...

50Hz display in the US
I am sure I am overthinking this.... Looking to display a 50Hz signal coming from Europe. I would try my personal sets, but I do not have a proper 50Hz signal. Will the stateside TV/monitors display 50Hz? I know the pro monitors do.
Thanks!
