Hi again,
Ok, all of the floating supply rails (-Va, -Vb, -Vc) are measuring low (around 13K) between their checkpoints and gnd. Is this a commonly encountered fault?

Dax 1 modulator fault

I'm working on a bunch of DAX 1 PA modules and I'm having a problem with one that shows a modulator fault in the fault log. All of the components that matter (FETs, ICs, diodes, etc) appear to be fine, so why does the -Vc line measure zero? Chasing my tail here ...

Hi there, We have a pair of Suncom 2.4m C-band dishes here in Auckland that we use to uplink our audio streams to satellite. The downlink sites around the country (using mostly 2.4m Prodelins) are achieving C/N's of around 11-12dB, but our Suncom uplink dishes can only manage 7dB on receive. We've t...

I got a result. It required to be set up for layer 3 distribution, not layer 2. All good now.

I've got a Newtec MDM6000 satellite modem that I'd like to use to replace an IDC MX2001 IP encapsulator that is getting a bit old.
