Ikegami TM14-20R Manual

I'm on the hunt for a service manual for a Ikegami TM14-20R 14" monitor.
If someone has a copy they can send me I'd be very grateful!

Re: Z-10 ventilating

Those I've seen (sample size: 2) are running in air conditioned buildings and not happy when the A/C stops working. Can you switch the fan around so it pressurizes the building instead of exhausting it? Using recirculated and conditioned air seems to be about the only way to keep one (or more) of t...

Re: Audio Science Cards

USB key is the way to go.. I would flat out refuse to use a system that is locked to a particular piece of hardware. Not a good position to be in an emergency, when you have to swap something and you are locked out!

I designed these boards over lunch one day. The mounting pins are from Harwin (p/n H2101-01) available through DigiKey.

Here are the gerber files...

Re: Electrolytics!

I have been repairing some old Tek 'scopes recently. Rather than replace the original Mallory electros with NOS ones I elected to use modern equivalents. Most (if not all) modern electros are snap-in PCB mounting using 10mm spaced leads. The original caps had 4 leads around the perimeter with a 5th ...

Re: Omnia 7 or Orban 5700

I love the great dialogue on this forum! Learning a lot from everyone. Do you know what I can put in front of the processor to make the sound better. I would like the name of the equipment and the function of it. I know every station has their secrets, but I don't think we are competing with each o...

Start by NOT making your source material MP3. Adding processing to crap just results in processed crap

Re: Harris Z-10 PSU mod (long post).

Update 5: a total of 16 pairs of rectifier boards are now installed in their respective transmitters and are in full-time operation. I certainly hope this puts an end to constantly having to wheel out the power supplies once a month to replace another open fuse. Certainly the owner of these transmit...
