Re: Realistic Service Manual Request

I looked in my archives and I only have a manual for the STA7 if you think that might be of some help.

Re: Realistic Service Manual Request

Did you try googling using the Rat Shack part number for the unit itself? Many times I stumble across service manuals using that method instead of the model name.

Re: Management ignored me when I suggested LPFM....

For those of you who don't know who "WREN" is, he is Jon Hall, a highly experienced radio engineer based in Charlottesville, VA, whom I have known for about twenty years. He is now also heavily involved in LPFM. Welcome aboard, Jon! Dale, any relation to Hall Electronics? If so I remember...

Re: Audio Bandwidth of an AM Broadcast Station

I remember how pleased I was when I engineered a pre-NRSC two tower AM directional daytimer using the Kahn AM Stereo system. Ages before I started engineering there the ops manager gave me one of the Sony SRF-A! AM Stereo Walkman© radios. When I first heard the station I swore I must have been liste...

Re: Simian or Station Playlist?

I'd be interested if that helps, Mark. I'm now intrigued to see if I can duplicate your situation on my system as I've never seen that occur.

Re: Simian or Station Playlist?

I have had StationPlaylist crash hard five times in the last three weeks. Not happy. What version? Are you subscribed to the StationPlaylist support list on Yahoo! Groups? Many times users come up with suggestions that solve issues. Ross has been excellent in support, but you need to factor in the ...

Re: RadioWorld Magazine

My original write-ups of StationPlaylist automation from 2007 and my product review of the Arrakis ARC-10 from 2008 is back, but I noticed with older content they removed my name as author from the article. My author's page only shows newer content of two guest commentaries and a recent product revi...

It's likely the security certs are too old at this point to work, as IE8 has been deprecated by Microsoft for ages.

I also had to manually chase down all the new URLs to stories and articles on this site. Their admin could have easily forwarded all the new URLs so the search engines would have found them easier.

Re: SSL Certificate

I sent Chris code which will make things "stick" but there may need to be an adjustment to phpBB to accommodate it. I had moved to SMF and needed to do a tweak to accommodate SSL logins.

Re: Gates Harris Yard 80 Solid State Console

The manual would be great but the pics would be helpful. There's an extra transformer in the unit which looks too much of a non-factory install, judging by how it's mounted. Appreciate anything you might be able to muster up. Thanks in advance.

Gates Harris Yard 80 Solid State Console

OO, I realize that this is probably a long shot but I figured I'd ask the braintrust. I'm restoring a Gates Yard 80 solid state console, which happens to be the actual first console I started in radio as a teen. I'm hoping to perform a partial restoration for this year's reunion of our former high s...
