EAScriber Pro

After installing new digital Sage boxes, my EAScriber program doesn't want to work. I have version 2.0.0. And, it appears that TDM data solututions is no more. Can anyone recommend a decent program useful for monitoring six different EAS boxes?

Monitor mute switch

What do you use to mute the speakers in the control room when the board is a Mackie? Broadcast Tools used to make a Console Controller as they called it, but no more. Any suggestions? I need one for two mics to control.

Re: Transmitting antenna comments/suggestions

Deep Thought nailed it. The big problem I'm having is ducting-related, with the 92.5 in Tampa hammering my northern coverage. It may be that there is nothing I can do about it. The installation precedes my employment, so I'll have to dig for a pattern study. The line seems fine, no VSWR issues. I'll...

Transmitting antenna comments/suggestions

I'm currently using a Shively 6810-4 for a station on 92.5. 25kw at 620'. Don't think the coverage is what it could be. Any comments/suggestions/recommendations??

A homebrew box with an 80 gig SSHD. Using Windows XP and (the most important thing) a Marian Trace Alpha sound card.

Re: Another Oldie but Goodie- The SIS T-40 Board

I ran one of those boards at WAPE in the late 70's. Trouble-free and built like a tank. Sis Electronics also made a great headphone amp.

Re: 4CX20000D

Interesting about Zonum. I did get an email from Manny saying he could rebuild the D, but maybe I'll stick with the devil I know.

Sony lavalier microphones

The TV station I work for uses a lot of Sony 44B and 77B lavalier microphones. They ain't cheap. However... the cord is known to break right at the microphone. Does anyone either know how to repair 'em or know of someone that does??

DTV Pro Channel

Has anyone used a DTV subcarrier as an audio feed, even as an STL? I can't see anywhere where this could not be done.

Re: 4CX20000D

Thanks, guys! Good material here. Unfortunately, Zonum doesn't list the 20k as one they do. I emailed them to ask.
