Re: AM station to shut down at end of May 2019

I did a quick lookup earlier this week and discovered that they've got a new callsign (not sure what was wrong with the old one) yet the info claims it was filed for back in 1980, which seems very odd, since the station underwent several changes of ownership and callsigns in its history, including ...

Repack Poll for the TV guys here.

Here is a little unofficial repack poll. As we get close to phase 10, the final phase, the amount of STAs and tolling requests is as predicted by many but still quite a bit. So where are you?

Re: Any love for Thor encoders?

Look into the Adtech stuff. We used one at my old station for our subchannel, and surprisngly, for a low cost encoder, it worked very nicely.
Was quite reliable and did everything we asked it to do without much hassle.

Re: Harris FM 20 K pro and con views

According to Bob Brown its a miner change most of it done with use of a ruler inside the PA cavity . That may be, but ChuckG, the one who said it was quite difficult, isn't some amateur. He's a very well experienced and known engineer in the trade. He doesn't speak from just guessing. So take his w...

Re: Microsoft Outlook problems?

With Rackspace we are only paying about $30/year per active e-mail address, not sure what our mailbox total could be with the present account. The Outlook problem I suspect is something connected with the notorious Microsoft updates. Program will lock up, not allow e-mail to be sent or other proble...

So the ASI output is a factory added part to the unit. Support isn't going to help you much, you're going to have to go through Sales.

Re: Nautel NV20 repair/restoration

Re: Parting out Harris 3.5K

If the fridge is GUI, I'd suggest you clean it out.....just saying. This subject degenerated real fast. I'm still laughing. Fossil The rest of that Atlas went into the dumpster, except for some RF parts and cool little control panel. But I couldn't help myself when I got those off of it. And...

Also on this tower were
Educational Media Foundation's KPLV 88.7 FM
Diocesan Telecomm's KLUX 89.5 FM
Quality Broadcasting's KFTX 97.5 FM

None of those FMs had any licensed auxes.
