Dynamax Module Auto Turn-On After Power Outage
I remember seeing a simple R-C circuit that can be connected to the "fader start" terminals of a Dynamax console which will cause that fader to turn on when the console powers up after power is restored following an outage. This is generally used to cause the automation fader to come up turned on. I have voicemail in to Dave Strode at Sandies, but it sometimes takes a while for him to get back to me, and I don't want to re-invent the wheel - have any of you seen this?

Was that circuit in one of the manuals? I think I have a copy of the manual at home.
I could use that feature too...there are five Dynamax consoles in service at one of my clients' two studio locations.

No. I have a complete manual scan, including oddities such as the modified output board for very high RF environments (needed by on former customer).

@Dale: I'd be interested in what you find out as I have an MX-12 I use for personal use and having a particular module come back online after a power drop would be a Godsend.

Bill -
I'll try calling Dave Strode again this week and post here when I learn what I need to learn.

I heard back from Dave Strode:
Insert a 10uF cap between the +15V terminal on the Interface board and the + remote ON terminal of the fader channel you want to turn on at startup. The capacitor negative lead goes to the +15 terminal. Insert a jumper wire between the On - terminal and the GND terminal (next to the +15V terminal).
