Anyone got a company/website, company name, etc that might be able to supply a 0.9ufd 2500vac non-polarizing cap, poly propylene like in a BE FM-10? These are c-2 and c-3. They are oval and look like a motor run/start cap.
I feel that a unit price of just under $900 is a slight bit high, and hope to find something a bit less "solid platinum".

Re: SEARCHING FOR CAPS
The older Flash Technology strobe lights use almost the same value cap. 1.0uf @ 2500 vnp. Here is one source for them, but no price listed. There are other sources for these and I have even seen new ones on Ebay. 1mf 2.5kv Night Capacitor
Direct OEM replacement for the following systems:
Honeywell / EG&G / Flash Technology:

There is a lot of 3 on Ebay for $49, they have slightly lower voltage, but cheap enough to try.

Re: SEARCHING FOR CAPS
Bob, if a 2100 VAC cap will work, it's as close as your nearest microwave oven (or appliance parts store). 0.9/2100 is a standard size.

Wow! Awesome fast responses....thanks guys.
I was looking at those microwave oven caps. They're cheap enough that we could gang up several of them. But I think the tower light beacon flasher source is perfect. I'll call them today to get price and avail.
Thanks for all the suggestions----they all are now bookmarked.

Isn't the FM-10 a microwave transmitter?

Trim to fit, paint to match, tune for minimum smoke.
