Hello all
I’m trying to organize and document the many antennas, satellites wireless receivers, radio repeaters and anything else that’s been setup and attach to our roof tops. Some are abandon and some are still in use.
Has anyone come across some type of weatherized tag that can survive rain, wind and extreme sunlight. Ultimate goal is to attach tags to the antennas and associate cabling with user contact info.
Thanks in advance for any assistance pointing me in the right direction.

You can get customized dog/cat tags engraved at pet supply stores for less than $10. They are aluminum and will last a long time.
Good idea to tag all that stuff.

Great idea. Most have machines right in the store, too.Jim Sofonia wrote: ↑Mon Oct 23, 2017 4:57 pmYou can get customized dog/cat tags engraved at pet supply stores for less than $10. They are aluminum and will last a long time.

A similar solution would be brass valve number tags, which are a stock item, and are inexpensive. A plumbing supply house should have them, as does Grainger.

A lot of cell sites use blank tags similar to the valve numbering tags with text and numbers added with hammered stamps ($30 Northern Tool).

Thanks Gentleman ,
Metal tagging them will certainly do the trick, along with spread sheeting the contact info I'll have this done pretty quick.

Doesn't quite meet you criteria but you might want to consider plastic livestock ear tags. They commonly come sequentially numbered which would require a separate database but can be ordered with custom imprinting (and you can always mark one side with that name/address/ info yourself). They're also available in differnt colors that could be tied to different tenants (red for ABC Company, blue for XYZ Company, etc).Their charm is that they can be read from a distance (like a tower top when you're standing on the ground, with binoculars). And they're virtually indestructible.
