Harris MSP 100
Harris MSP 100
I have just inherited some equipment from a 1970's radio station. One of the pieces is a Harris MSP 100. It looks to be complete, has the original manuals and in great condition. There is a post-it note on it that says it is in "fine working condition". Is there anyone here that could give me an approximate value for this? I want to sell it, but I can't even guess at it's value. Thank you in advance

Re: Harris MSP 100
It was Harris' attempt at the then-state of the audio multiband processing art and they charged accordingly, around $5,600 back when you could still buy a new car for that. I know of a couple AM stations that ran them and they sounded OK, but never were able to compete with Optimods.
It is a bit of a collectors item but probably isn't worth more than about $500 since it really isn't up to the job in 2017.
