Wow, a two pattern three tower Class B at 1440 with 500W at night? Ugh, I can see where that wouldn't be very appealing to a prospective new owner. Especially true these days.

So, what's the story on it's demise? TX site property value more than the station is worth?

I believe Scott Fybush had an article about this in a Northeast Radio Watch column earlier this year. Some answers may be there.

It's sad to see any radio station succumb to the brutal cold reality of the changing world of advertising. Even more touching is the disappearance of "local origination" and the warm feeling of a hometown radio family. Time waits for no one and the older I get the more that phrase pisses me off ! :x
