Marti SRPT-30 frequency change

Post by Ray »

How easy are minor frequency changes for the newer synthesized Marti RFUs (analog)? It looks like you have to program the frequency via a RS232. Is special software required or is it just a RS232 command? Can't seem to find any documentation that talks about this other than "send it to the factory". I don't think I would have any problems with retuning the RF circuit and validating spectrum. Thanks Ray

Simplest to send it back to the factory. My notes indicate it cost me $314 to add second frequency to my RPU transmitter.

Bohn Broadcast does a nice job with those too. I've not ever gotten the frequency programming info out of BE.

Bohn referred me to BE, not equipped to handle the synthesizer models.
