Looking for MusicGen installer

Post by radiowave911 » Wed Apr 19, 2017 2:59 pm

When we bought our NexGen system from Prophet way back when, it came with MusicGen installed (and licensed). I am looking to finally do an OS upgrade on the system (still running XP and is showing signs of age) but have hit a roadblock with MusicGen. The rest of the software RCS can provide. They say they no longer have the installer for MusicGen, as they dropped support for that product. We like it, especially since there are not annual fees that come with it. What I am in need of is the installer for the program. I thought I had it archived to CD, however the disc seems lost to the sands of time and I am unable to locate the installer anywhere on the current system.

Alternatively, can anyone suggest a music scheduling program that is easy to use (we have high school kids running the station) and inexpensive (see the comment about high school)?

We use Natural Music which is a buy-out. Also in use at a college station and a high school station we help out.

Like any such program, the real work is in deciding on categories, installing the database, and setting up a clock. Once this is done, the actual log generation is fairly simple, and database maintenance fairly simple. Since it is a close cousin to Natural Log, you should be able to get the automation to recognize it
