Hi all,
BSI did a major server upgrade recently and I am told that they probably won't restart the Forum that was hosted there for many years. They probably see it as competing with their tech service billing...
Does anybody know of another forum devoted to Simian? I don't find one on Google groups or Groups.IO.
Regards,

I guess we’ll have to start one. The hell of it is they lost the archives in the whole mess.

Any hunt for it via the Wayback Machine?

Re: BSI Simian Forum Closed Down
I think that BSI got tired of saying "we haven't heard of that problem" and a caller to tech support saying that there are 50 people bitching about the exact same problem on their own forum.
I have been thinking about starting one on groups.io. It doesn't look particularly hard to setup but right now I don't have the time to properly moderate and approve signups on an ongoing basis.
Bill, I just looked at waybackmachine and it shows the forum login but I can't get past that. I tried my old login' and nothing worked. The messages were apparently not made publicly readable without a login and WBM couldn't get beyond that.
Just a searchable text file of the old posts would be a help. I just made a basic group named bsi-simian@groups.io to play with. After making that, I realized that it might be better hosted here on VE...

Re: BSI Simian Forum Closed Down
I had heard that there was a FB group but I am just barely able to navigate FB and rarely ever look at my acct. I can find enough ways to waste a day without checking to see what time my sisters dog did his business...
