iPump RDBS

This seemed like the best place for this... We use a wegener iPump 8640 media receiver for our station...and i am really intrigued by this RDBS IP Messge feature...but i canr find any information on it.. The user manual for the 8640 just mentions it's there. A sales flyer i found seemed to mention it sends udp messages...can anyone give me a little more detail on it? Id like to write my own reciever app for it.. Rather than trying to run a serial cable to a computer....
