***This position is located on a beautiful tropical island in the Marshall Islands.​ You must be willing to relocate.​ This is an unaccompanied position***

JOB DUTIES:

* Responsible for ensuring all radio and television signals remain on the air 24 hours a day, with no more than 5 unplanned outages per year, per broadcast channel and that all signals comply with FCC broadcast standards for frequency, strength and quality.​ Responsible for equipment accountability and the general upkeep of the AFRTS facility.​ Produces an annual budget for approval and procurement by the Range Radio/​AFRTS Unit Leader.​





JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

* Required: Television & Radio transmitter repair and maintenance.​



* Desired: Television & Radio transmitter repair and maintenance/​Computer Networking/​Delay Unit Maintenance



EXPERIENCE:

Required: 6 years

Desired: 10 years



EDUCATION:

* Required: Military or Tech School training in broadcast engineering.​
* Desired: BA in electronics engineering.​



OTHER SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

· Physical ability to work from crane man basket at heights to 150 feet for television antenna maintenance/​repair.​
