Technician - Broadcast/Equipment/RF 41.6-52 K/yr



Large communications company is actively searching for a Broadcast Equipment Technician for a direct hire position just south of Denver, CO. Candidate will be responsible for the installation, diagnosis and maintenance of critical on-air video, audio, RF, baseband, signal processing,transport and transmission equipment.
Candidate must have 2+ years technical maintenance exp with electronics, communication, television broadcast, transport, and transmission systems such as analog/digital receivers, encoders, decoders, signal processors, network adapters, video/audio routers, patch panels, converters, switchers, multiplexers, modulators, demodulators, power amplifiers, antennas, television network and control automation. Experience must include a strong background in troubleshooting, analyzing relationships between problem
components within television systems and it transport systems, conducting routine maintenance and utilizing transport and spectrum analyzers, waveform/vector scopes, and other test equipment. Experience installing cabling and new equipment, interpreting wiring diagrams and working with engineers to test and integrate new systems required. The broadcast center is a 24x7 facility and requires the ability to work various shifts, including holidays and overtime.
