Tom Osenkowsky passes away

Post by NECRAT »

Long time Connecticut Engineer, and well known broadcaster Tom Osenkowsky passed away yesterday at his home. Tom was an active member of this forum, and will long be missed by many.

I was sad to hear of Tom's passing. I had corresponded with him only a week or two ago and while he sounded like he was in good spirits it also sounded like he had come to terms with his own mortality.

Really saddened by this news. Only months ago I PM'd him on the subject of "didn't we meet in the early 70's at WINE?" And, in fact we had. I was just visiting.

I figured, since was well known in engineering circles, that he was likely very busy and so did not make any further efforts at contact.

Condolences to his family and all those who knew him.

Very sad loss. Tom Osenkowsky was a superb engineer, and very skilled and knowledgeable. He was helpful and friendly to all! He will be missed, R.I.P. Tom, you made the world a better place.
