FS1 power supply replacements.

Post by grich » Wed Nov 26, 2014 3:43 pm

Starting to have power supply failures on our ample inventory of FS1's. So far, PS1 has been the failed supply...might be related to air circulation in the cabinet...it's on the end opposite the fan. It's obvious the caps under the heat sink are cooking off. If I had spare time, I might try fixing these, but until then, Mouser has them cheap. Cincon CFM40S050.

Great info. I am going to modify your threat title slightly.

Good stuff. Love my FS1's and FS2's. I call em universal adapters.

We have several dozen of these, some of which were bought shortly after they were introduced. None have failed (yet), but that's really handy to know. Thanks for sharing!
