Yep, they're at it again... Someone has produced a spot with ~20sec. of silence at the head.
I see why they did it -- it makes artistic sense in context -- but I'm tired of these emails from the silence sensor.....

Can you dub 20Hz over the silent part? Might make the silent sensor happy, and not bother the client.
Trim to fit, paint to match, tune for minimum smoke.

The worst ones were those with black in the first few seconds of the spot....but that's back in the day when I actually did the switching & everything was either video tape or film chain.

Several times a year, one of our beloved car dealers runs a 30-second silent spot, with white text on a black background.
Our traffic folks are nice enough to give us a heads-up when that flight is about to start. Helps lessen, but not completely relieves cardiac stress.
