See, I disagree with a blanket power increase. It needs to be handled on a case by case basis. I know some that need it and some that don't personally.

The NPR / iBiquity proposal (as supported by NAB) actually does take some factors into account, it isn't a straight "everyone add sideband power" decree. NPR Labs has a iBiquity Power Calculator on their website that is currently being revised so that it matches the proposal as given to the Commission.
